SEASCAPE ART |
This scene falls through a veil that is too cluttered. It's not a memory, it's your story: yet you tell it as if it were true.
These acrylic and mixed media paintings show snippets of seascapes –
primarily from the East Coast beaches of New Zealand. They speak of
the tangle of memory and truth: explored through the interplay of
land, shell and sea. They speak of diving deep and holding your
breath; exploding through the surface in need of air;
the splintering of sunlight and salt in your eyes. |
